Full biography
Anukriti Kaushal is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Delhi Technological University (DTU), a role her current DTU profile dates from 2020. She is pursuing a Ph.D. at DTU on manipulated-image detection using deep learning, including GAN-based deepfakes and highly compressed images; her M.Tech. thesis addressed symmetric-key encryption based on DNA cryptography. Her research spans digital image forensics, deepfake generation and detection, image manipulation detection and localization, computer vision, machine learning, large language models, and digital security and privacy. Her publisher-verified work includes journal articles in Multimedia Tools and Applications, Earth Science Informatics, and Applied Sciences and conference papers on image forensics, deepfakes, language models, and neural-network security. Google Scholar listed 130 citations, an h-index of 5, and an i10-index of 4 when checked on 5 September 2026; these bibliometrics change over time. She teaches programming, data structures, computer networks, distributed systems, machine learning and compiler design and supervises M.Tech. research. DTU also lists her as Deputy Coordinator (IPR-TT), Co-In-Charge of the DBMS Lab, a CSE ISO team member, and an ISO 9001:2015 auditor.
